Hi, I’m Juliette — a designer and illustrator driven by a deep love for sharks and the ocean. This project began as part of my university honours thesis, where I explored how visual communication can help reshape societal perceptions of sharks. I created Galea Marine Collective to change the way that people think about sharks and marine life and advocate for their conservation through design, illustration, and data visualisation.
We use visual communication to shift public perception of sharks — combining data, typography, illustration, and narrative design to spark curiosity, build empathy, and support conservation.
